Getting Plugged In

There are a variety of ways to get involved in RUF:

Large group-   Meets every Tuesday night at 8pm at UNF in building 14 rooms 1601/02.    Meetings will start on Tuesday, August 26, 2008.  Click on the Large Group tab.

Small groups-  Meet all throughout the week at various times and places.  Check the small groups tab to find out more.

One to one meetings-  Tommy, Nikki, and ministry team members are glad to meet with you over lunch or coffee and talk about questions you have about spiritual issues or struggles you may be having with school, home life, personal life, etc.  If you want to hang out with someone, we are always available to meet with you and get to know you better esp. at Starbucks.  Find out more here 

Fall Conference-RUF has a Fall Conference just outside Gainsville, FL, the weekend of October 17-19, 2008.  We worship, hear preaching, attend seminars, and have fun playing basketball, swimming, and just hangin’ out.  There are around 100 students from UF, FSU, USF, UCF, and other schools that come.  Go to the Fall Conference 2008 tab for more information.

Mission Trips-  RUF goes on a Spring Mission Trip every year to the Palmer Home for Children.  It is a great time of helping children who are less fortunate and connecting with RUFers for a week of fun and service.  

Local Churches-  RUF is part of the local churches in Jacksonville.  RUF seeks to ‘funnel’ students into the churches in hopes that students will serve and love the church long after graduation.  If you are interested in finding a home church, just click the Jacksonville Churches tab.
